Our latest roll-out allows clients to build multiple watch lists across different markets, sectors and issuers complete with their own alert settings. Here’s everything you need to know.
When reporting is at its peak, it’s too easy to be overwhelmed with earnings events, research notes and more and risk missing opportunities through the noise of the market.
Though our watch list functionality and earnings summaries have already enabled better triaging for credit teams, today we’re pleased to introduce a significant enhancement to the way watch lists are built and managed within the Cognitive Credit web app.
Our new ‘multiple watch list’ functionality allows users to build up to 5 tailored watch lists - complete with their own customizable alert settings - and gives greater control over the market segments you track and the information you receive.
Here’s everything you need to know about multiple Watch lists.
Improving Watch list functionality has long been on our roadmap and we’re pleased to be able to deliver a brand new experience for our users. As well supporting multiple watch lists, we’ve also introduced the ability to build them in bulk - greatly reducing administrative burden.
Lists can be built by using unique identifiers such as Company IDs, Bond Tickers, ISINs or LoanX IDs, or by using our native filters and text search to narrow down your selection dynamically. In each case, users retain the ability to add or remove individual names as required - ensuring every list is fully customizable.
Once a list is created, it will appear in a new dedicated widget on the side bar of the app Homepage. This new widget makes it easier for users to manage lists, with options to rename or delete as required.
Additionally, users can now use a new collapsible Watch list toggle across the top navigation to narrow your view to just the companies contained within a specific list. This toggle gives you a faster and more direct route to find the latest headline numbers for the names that matter to you when you’re up against deadlines. From here, you can dive straight into the full financials and document library of any issuer for deeper fundamental analysis.
Every list build also supports its own unique email alert settings. Available from the Preferences screen, users users can select the desired frequency of alerts from the following options:
Real-time
Receive an Earnings Summary alert to your inbox - complete with headline figures - as soon as new reporting for a name becomes available.
End of Day Summaries
Receive an alert at the end of each business day listing which companies have reported in the last 24 hours. End of Day summaries do not include headline numbers.
End of Week Summaries
Receive an alert at the end of each business day listing which companies have reported in the last 24 hours. End of Day summaries do not include headline numbers.
As always, we recommend real-time alerts for key companies in your coverage to ensure that you receive an earnings summary - containing the latest headline figures - directly to your inbox. It’s the easiest way to triage opportunity at speed and jump straight into the financials if required.
