Every analyst has their own way of working. Discretionary metrics, naming conventions and model templates vary across teams and that lack of consistency can make collaboration more complicated than it should be. What’s more, keeping all those models and forecasts organized is a serious administrative challenge in itself.
Fortunately, the Drive feature in our app specifically solves that problem. It gives research analysts a centralized private space for all their modelling work, automatically organizes your work into a searchable library and makes collaboration within teams that much simpler.

The Drive feature in our web app is a private and secure storage space for you to store any customized models, forecasts and research notes that you create. Additionally, it allows you to share content with team members who are also using Cognitive Credit - providing a smoother and consistent means of collaboration.
Every item saved can be easily revisited at a later date. For example, when new earnings on a name are published, you can recall the relevant model or forecast and update it with those numbers instantly. Any discretionary metrics you may have added to the model will also update using the as-reported data. There’s no limit to how many models and forecasts you can save, meaning you can create an entire library of work in your Drive and make light work of any ongoing model maintenance.
Sharing also gives you full control over who in your team sees your work. For example, if your PM needs to look at your model, you can simply share that content with them at the click of a button. And, given that all our models are consistently structured, they’ll be able to understand your workings and easily contribute to it by saving down their own version and sharing it back with you - leaving your original file intact.
You can also create and save written notes concerning an issuer in your drive to add any context to your models and share them with team members accordingly. All content - Models, Forecasts and Notes - is fully searchable and filterable via the Drive, so you can easily find what you’re looking for without having to manually browse through countless offline folders and spreadsheets. It’s all saved and easy to find in one place.
The Drive is accessible in-app via the top navigation. For ease of use, it features the same search and filtering functionality as seen in our Text Search function. If you need to quickly find a model on a specific issuer or use a specific search query, simply use the Search bar and the dropdown will highlight any relevant results.
You can use simple filters along the top navigation to view content created by you, as well as content created by other Team members that has been shared with you. You can also filter these views by content to narrow down your results further.
Sharing a file with your colleagues is easy: simply tick the shared box on the individual listing to make it immediately accessible to team members. It’s important to note that files can only be shared within the App environment and team members will need an active login to Cognitive Credit to be able to access shared files. You can also rename, delete or pin key content to your sidebar using the icons highlighted below.
