Product Roadmap Update: 4Q25

Written by Andrew Johnson | Dec 17, 2025 10:11:19 AM

In our final Product Roadmap of 2025, we highlight some of the recent additions to Cognitive Credit products and services in 4Q25 and take a sneak peak at what’s to come in 2026.

At Cognitive Credit, we’re always striving to improve our products.

Through a mix of direct engagement with our clients and feedback from the wider market, we’re constantly developing new features and functionality to help credit teams work more efficiently and maximize performance.

Like most technology firms, we develop and deliver features according to a strict roadmap. As new features are added to the roadmap, our product and engineering teams work to deliver them in quarterly sprints.

As each sprint ends, we’ll use this quarterly blog post to round-up all the latest additions to the application delivered in the previous quarters - and offer a sneak peak of what’s to come in the months ahead.

Our current Roadmap

Q4: Now available in-app

Excel Add-in: CCEP Function
This quarter, we introduced the 7th function of our Excel Add-in - the Cognitive Credit Equivalent Periods (CCEP) function. This new function simplifies top down analysis by retrieving calendar normalized reporting periods for issuers, allowing users to minimize external variables in like-for-like comparative analysis. Users can also nest CCEP within Cognitive Credit Data Point (CCDP) to seamlessly retrieve financial metrics across a range of issuers for comparable periods.

To support this roll out, we have also introduced supported syntax across Cognitive Credit Reporting Periods (CCRP), enabling users to easily identify the first available reporting period and return a range of reporting periods in respect of a user entered date.

Excel Add-in: Additional CCDP Measures
We have also continued to expand the list of available measures in the Add-in to further facilitate deeper analysis and more seamless data integration. This month, we have added 7 new measures to the CCDP functionality across the Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement and Balance Sheet.

You can read more about these two releases in our Product blog here.

Multiple Watchlists
Releasing this week - and our final major update of 2025 - will be the introduction of multiple watchlists in-app. This enhancement to the web-app will allow users to configure multiple watchlists in their account and build watchlists faster using bulk action edits such as the selection of multiple companies or entire industries/sectors. Crucially, this also includes the option to set up email notifications for each individual watchlist, giving you greater control over the alerts you receive from us during those busy earnings periods.

Q1: In development

Cognitive Credit AI
With the boom of generative AI products this year, we’re excited to announce Cognitive Credit AI. Built on the latest advancements in large language models (LLMs), this new feature will be fully integrated into the web app and allow users to instantly summarize complex financial documents, answer detailed questions across the entire Cognitive Credit database, and synthesize insights across companies and sectors — all from a single, intuitive chat interface.

Already in testing, we expect Phase 1 to roll-out in Q1 with further enhancements to be delivered throughout 2026.

My Datasite Documents
We are continuing to work on our Restricted Access offering and will soon be able to host a user’s full set of Datasite documents on our Application. Users will also be able to navigate within our Application to a Restricted Access issuer they are permissioned to and find all of the documents they have access to in the respective deal site.

This update will eliminate the need to navigate to third party Datasite providers to access full document repositories. Instead, all documents and financial models will be available centrally via our web app.

Public Earnings Call Transcripts
We are excited to announce that we will be adding transcripts from public earnings calls to the web app in 1Q26. This initial roll out will include the last five years worth of earnings call transcripts for publicly listed companies, providing users with a wealth of additional qualitative insight for their analysis.

We expect to add transcripts for private (Restricted Access) earnings call transcripts to the web app later next year.

Enterprise Value and Related Metrics
We will introduce equity pricing data to our Application in order to calculate Enterprise Values (EVs) and related metrics. We will also use this data to back-calculate private company EVs.

Advanced Market Filtering
We are continuing to work on upgrades to some of the core infrastructure in our web-app and additional features designed to help users more efficiently screen the market and evaluate instrument-level data. This will include the addition of market price move metrics, additional relative value data categories, and more flexibility when filtering the market across our Comparables pages. We will announce more about these improvements in early 2026 - so be sure to subscribe to our newsletter for all the latest updates.
