One of the Top 10 Global High Yield League Table Banks wanted to further empower their desk analysts with a centralized store of fundamental data, to alleviate the burden of manual data sourcing and modelling. Their current process involved manually chasing documents from issuers and entering that data line-by-line in legacy credit models - greatly limiting individual analyst capacity.

Our solution

Our proprietary technology automatically extracts and delivers fundamental data in a ready-to-use format, giving the analyst immediate access to the information they need. Using the Instruments page available in the Cognitive Credit application, the Desk Analysts were able to quickly view the entire debt stack of a relevant issuer, as well as latest activity.

The outcome

By having this data centralized in one convenient application, individual Desk Analysts were able to save 45 minutes of data sourcing time per issuer (avg.), allowing them to spend more time on analysis and arrive at a credit view faster than anticipated.
