Cognitive Credit adds Corporate Sustainability Reports to credit market coverage

Cognitive Credit, the leading provider of corporate credit data and analytics technology, today announces the addition of Sustainability Reports to the fundamental credit data available in its web application.

This additional reporting further expands the credit market’s largest searchable document library to include published Sustainability Reports on issuers included in the Cognitive Credit coverage universe. With this addition, Cognitive Credit’s document library now consists of approximately 82,000 documents relating to over 1,750 High Yield and Investment Grade issuers in the US and Europe. As more companies publish Sustainability Reports, we will continue to add them.

Sustainability considerations and ESG factors are becoming increasingly important to credit investors as global social and governance pressures grow. As Global Sustainable Bond Issuance is expected to exceed $900bn in 2023 (Source: S&P Global), demand for transparent and accurate reporting on these factors has also substantially increased.

Jack Wearne, Vice President of Product and Strategy, said: “With the addition of Sustainability Reports to our document library, Cognitive Credit is further cementing its position as the market’s most comprehensive source of fundamental credit data. By offering this information in our fully searchable document library, we are providing clients with both deeper data and valuable context for their investment decision-making process, all delivered in one convenient and easy-to-use application.”

Sustainability Reports are one of five document types used by Cognitive Credit to build its market-leading fundamental credit data, alongside Financial Reports, Preliminary Reports, Prospectuses and Presentations. All documents sourced by Cognitive Credit are publicly available and are processed by proprietary machine-reading technology. Financial data is structured into dynamic credit models and published within minutes of release, while source documents are added in their entirety to a digital document library and made searchable for full transparency.

Access to Cognitive Credit’s document library is exclusively available via web application. All stored documents related to an issuer are conveniently listed on the relevant Company Documents page, and can be instantly queried using native Text Search functionality.
