Product Roadmap Update: 3Q25

Product Roadmap Update: 3Q25

In our third Product Roadmap of 2025, we highlight some of the recent additions to Cognitive Credit products and services in 3Q25 and take a sneak peak at what’s to come in Q4.

At Cognitive Credit, we’re always striving to improve our products.

Through a mix of direct engagement with our clients and feedback from the wider market, we’re constantly developing new features and functionality to help credit teams work more efficiently and maximize performance.

Like most technology firms, we develop and deliver features according to a strict roadmap. As new features are added to the roadmap, our product and engineering teams work to deliver them in quarterly sprints.

As each sprint ends, we’ll use this quarterly blog post to round-up all the latest additions to the application delivered in the previous quarters - and offer a sneak peak of what’s to come in the months ahead.

Our current Roadmap

Product Roadmap as of 3Q25 | Cognitive Credit

Q3: Now available in-app

Excel Add-in: CCRD Function
In Q3, we introduced the 6th function of our Excel Add-on: Cognitive Credit Reporting Dates (CCRD). This new function enables users to associate earnings publication dates and period end dates with the underlying reporting periods in their Excel spreadsheet. Users can view when an issuer’s financial document was released to the market and align reporting periods across different Companies to facilitate more efficient comparable analysis. This update also included enhancements to our core Add-in functionality allowing for improved performance of the Add-in when pulling data from our servers.

To support this update, we also released updated documentation for all Excel Add-in functions (CCID, CCCP, CCDP, CCRP, CCRD and CCDS) to our help Centre

Excel Add-In: Resource template library
To support users in getting up to speed quickly with our Excel Add-In, we’ve now introduced a curated library of practical resource templates to our Help Centre. These templates are designed to help users understand key workflows, apply best practices, and unlock the full potential of the Add-in in real-world scenarios. This growing library is part of our ongoing commitment to empower users with intuitive, self-serve tools that accelerate onboarding and drive adoption.

Additionally, we have also updated our documentation for all Excel Add-in functions (CCID, CCCP, CCDP, CCRP, CCRD and CCDS) on our help Centre to reflect the very latest list of command and measures.

Restricted Access Names: Document uploader
Following the successful release of our Restricted Access Names package in Q2, we are continuing to refine and optimize this new functionality with feedback from clients. In Q3, we released a significant upgrade to our document uploader to make the upload process both faster and more transparent. As well as refreshing the layout of our document upload screen to streamline bulk uploads, users now see progress indicators providing transparency on the live status of any submitted documents.

Additionally, document verification status is now reflected in a user’s private library in real-time with an email alert sent to the user whenever that status is updated.

Q3: In development

Excel Add-in: CCEP Function
Q4 will see continued development on our ever-popular Excel Add-in with the introduction of a new function: Cognitive Credit Equivalent Periods (CCEP). This new function simplifies top down analysis by retrieving calendar normalized reporting periods for issuers, allowing users to minimize external variables in your like-for-like comparative analysis. Users will also be able to nest CCEP within Cognitive Credit Data Point (CCDP) to seamlessly retrieve financial metrics across a range of issuers for comparable periods.

Additionally, we will also introduce supported syntax across Cognitive Credit Reporting Periods (CCRP), enabling users to easily identify the first available reporting period and also return a range of reporting periods in respect of a user entered date.

Stay tuned for more information on this update in the coming weeks.

Excel Add-in: Additional CCDP Measures
We will also roll out a range of new CCDP measures to the Add-In, enabling users to enhance their templates and build out your models in greater detail. New measures to be introduced will be across the Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement and Balance Sheet.

Multiple Watchlists
Our last major update in 2025 will see the introduction of multiple watchlists in-app. This will allow users to configure multiple watchlists and will include support of bulk action edits (multiple selection, industry, coverage universe) through the companies page, watchlist configurations of our Company and Market Comparable pages and email notification configuration at the watchlist level.

Advanced Market Filtering
We are continuing to work on upgrades to some of the core infrastructure in our web-app and additional features designed to help users more efficiently screen the market and evaluate instrument-level data. This will include the addition of market price move metrics, additional relative value data categories, and more flexibility when filtering the market across our Comparables pages. We will announce more about these improvements in early 2026 - so be sure to subscribe to our newsletter for all the latest updates.
